Many people searching for cheap holidays around the Mediterranean are not aware of the quiet sun kissed bays and idyllic towns and villages that are dotted around the islands 200Klms of coastline, which are surrounded by incredibly clear and vibrant waters.
The quality of the water is one of the attractions that bring in huge numbers of divers to enjoy what Ibiza has to offer. The island can boast a wealth of unforgettable scuba-diving sites many of which can also be enjoyed with simple snorkelling equipment.
The island is well serviced by many schools offering diving training facilities that meet international training standards. There are a multitude of extremely enthusiastic and highly qualified instructors who were able to offer a diving education that is not only very safe, but also thoroughly enjoyable.
Equipment and dive boats at all of the dive centres are monitored by Spanish authorities to meet high international quality standards, and are outfitted with suitable communications equipment.
During the summer the waters average temperature hovers around a very comfortable 28 ° C, and even in winter only falls down to around 14 ° C. Like any other destination visibility underwater varies depending upon currents, but is generally not less than 20 m and up to 40 m.

It also offers a guaranteed viewing of huge numbers of stunning fish including Sgt Majors, Moray eels and damsel fish, not to mention the three separate species of grouper that call these waters home.
One of the more popular diving activities on Ibiza this cave diving where experienced divers can enjoy the delights of under water dripstone caves, which are fed by rainwater.
